The IAESTE intern exchange program is a 1 for 1 arrangement. The number of US students that work abroad must be equal to the number of international students coming to the US to work. Therefore, our United States employers who host an international intern are not only providing the experience of a lifetime for a student from abroad, but are also giving the opportunity for an American student to work abroad. The Local Committee here at Georgia Tech serves as the liason between the employer and the international intern. All communication, housing, paperwork, and even social events are handled by the students in the local committee. Additionally, Georgia Tech and the Office of International Education are willing to help pay the fees and wages for your intern. For more information, see our contact page and email an officer.
