he Hitt Scholarship was
established by the Hitt family to honor the memory of
their beloved daughter, Merri Gaye Hitt, a Georgia Tech
graduate (MGT '77) and member of the ANAK Society. While
in school, Ms. Hitt was active in several organizations,
including the Student Government Association where
she became the first woman to run for the office of
Student Body President. This award is given each year to
a Georgia Tech student who exemplifies true love for
Georgia Tech, strong character, and outstanding
leadership.
