Jarred Lee writes: I am proud to announce that we, John and myself, have finally gotten approval to host our first showing of the year. This upcoming Wednesday, October 21st, we will be showing Baccano! in CoC 345 from 5:30 to 9:30! Come, bring snacks, bring a friend, and have a great time! We are going to try to have showings on each Wednesday following meetings so that means there will probably be three
more after this one. Also, coming to showings counts towards your attendance and gives you a much better chance in the raffle at the end of the school year! I hope to see you all there!
Honestly I'm not actually sure what's in CoC room 345, whether it's big enough to serve as a real theater space or is just a classroom with a projector. But either way, Baccano! is one of 2007's best shows and everyone should try to attend this. I wonder if they'll play the dub...
In other news, you guys had your third and fourth meetings on October 3rd and October 17th, respectively. Until someone tells me differently, I'm assuming the schedule for those was basically the same. <3 Bakemonogatari, Spice and Wolf II, and to an extent, Canaan. Not generally taken with the second season of Zetsubou Sensei, it's lost a lot of its edge; and haven't even watched much of Umineko or Princess Lovers. But that's just me. Also, Cross Game is still made of win. YES.

And as for the shows you selected, the line up this semester is Canaan, Princess Lovers!, Bakemonogatari, Spice and Wolf II, Zan Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei, and Umineko no Naku Koro ni. And if one of those turns out to be made of fail, Needless will take its spot.
Seems like a pretty good lineup to me. I'm currently following two of the shows on it, have heard good things about three others, and as for Princess Lovers!, eh, I can't make judgments on something I haven't seen, I guess. I'm a little disappointed no one went for Tokyo Magnitude, but I guess that'll just be my private pleasure. Spice and Wolf is fantastic this season, though, good call.
