Camping Trip prep meeting

• Possible showers this weekend
  • Officers will wait until Friday to decide whether the weather is clear enough
  • Will let everybody know by Friday at noon whether or not the trip is cancelled
  • Possible back-up date will be April 22-23
  • Participants will be reimbursed in the event of a cancellation
• Lots of things in the sky right now: Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, the Orion Nebula, etc.
• Things to pack
  • Tents, sleeping bags, and sleeping pads
  • You can rent these from ORGT
  • There is enough room for everybody to set up their own tent, but recommend sharing with friends
  • Warm clothes (it will be cool up there after nightfall)
  • Flashlight
• We will wake up early to watch the sunrise
• All participants will receive an e-mail with a waiver that they will have to sign if they did not sign one last semester

  • You MUST sign this form and turn it in to any of the officers before we can allow you to join us on this trip
• There is an early car that will leave at 3:00 and a later car that will leave at 4:00-5:00. More exact times will follow
• Meryl may be taking a group on a hiking trip on Sunday depending on her school workload
• The Emory astronomy club may be joining us this time. They will provide their own supplies
