Meetings
CaribSA holds bi-weekly meetings during the Fall and Spring semesters to discuss upcoming plans and events as well as pertinent issues and news affecting the Caribbean community. The first meeting of the Fall 2009 semester will be held on September 3rd and all currently scheduled subsequent meetings appear on the calendar above. Meetings for the spring semester have yet to be scheduled but the calendar will be updated when those dates have been confirmed.
For the Upcoming Year
We have a number of social events in mind for the fall and spring. The following events will be added to the CaribSA calendar as they are scheduled:
- Game Night (Fall semester)
- Movie Night (Fall semester)
- 2nd Annual Caribbean Expo (Spring semester)
GT CaribSA's Annual Caribbean Expo is an exposition showcasing the culture of the Caribbean Islands. Following the successes of CaribSA's 1st Annual Caribbean Expo, we will maintain the standards previously set while bringing new and exciting ideas to the Georgia Tech community. The program previously included dances, skits, food, a fashion show, and a live band. - Party with ASA (Tentative)
Talk of a joint party with Georgia Tech's African Student Association has been buzzed about quite a while now. As soon as more details about the event develop, we'll be sure to let you know!
CaribSA Week
A fun-filled week of activities and events held in the Spring that serve to educate students about Caribbean culture. The 2nd Annual Caribbean Expo is one of the daily events that will be held during this week.

FCSA Conference
The GT CaribSA has traveled to the Florida Caribbean Student Association Conference at Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida in previous years and hopes to continue this tradition. The conference consists of a number of workshops and events in which students from a number of colleges and universities network and build various leadership skills. This event will also take place during the Spring semester.
