The Islands

The Caribbean, also referred to as the West Indies is the islands and coasts located southeast of the Gulf of Mexico and Northern America, east of Central America, and north of South America. The entire region is made up of over 7,000 diffferent islands, islets, reefs, and cays.

The Caribbean is best known for its tropical climate, rich culture, excellent beaches and biodiversity. It is an extremely popular destination among tourists because of its sandy white beaches, clear blue waters, and breathtaking sunsets.
