Since May 1999, the GT Dance Association (a non-profit student organization of Georgia Tech) has been bringing great music, special events, and workshops once a month to Tech students and Atlanta at a minimal cost.
It takes a lot of work to bring our dances and workshops to fruition. GTDA is always looking for members, volunteers, or officers to help with our events. Interested in such a noble effort? Email us at
GENERAL DANCE INFORMATION
Admission: $5 Tech students and ASEDA members, $10 others.
Though we draw a typically college-age crowd, all ages are welcome and we have no restrictions on admittance.
While most guys wear collared shirts and girls wear a casual dress, the dress-code is whatever you feel comfortable in.
Each dance starts with professionally-taught lessons from 8:00 to 9:00pm and open dancing from 9:00 till 12:00pm.
Cups are provided by the water-fountains and vending machines are located downstairs.
Unless posted otherwise, all dances are held in Georgia Tech's amazing 5,000 sq. foot, hardwood-floor ballroom.
Directions can be found on our Contact Us page.
