Game review by Chris Octa: Persona 3 for PS2
-Anime-themed RPG
-This is the one where kids shoot themselves in the head to become more powerful

("unleash their 'persona'")
-Two parts of the game: day (go to school, vacations, level up appropriate skills, and

develop social links) and night (fight demons)
-Time-based: one year given to beat the game, but events drive the time forward
-Plays too much like a dating sim, with many story-driven social links that you have to

level up
-Problem: Changing equipment requires talking to party members individually, which

takes too much time
-Level-based system not overwhelming. Skills are more important.
-Almost everything you do, including talking to people, affects the story in some way
-Very long game, but there is a New Game+ mode.
-AI is kind of iffy. They are controlled via scripts.
-Game isn't very pretty. Sad
-It is great for the niche JRPG audience, but terrible for everyone else.
-Overall rating: 9.4
