Reviews: Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass (reviewed by Emily)
-Pretty much the sequel to Windwaker
-Move your boat around by drawing the map out with the stylus. This can be kind of tedious, but you quickly learn how to warp from place to place to save time.
-Sailing is same as usual, with jumping and a cannon, and salvaging
-Salvage minigame is terrible.
-A lot of the movement is bad and there are a bunch of glitches. The game feels unfinished. You are advised to use the shoulder buttons instead of the touchpad for combat.
-Story's pretty solid for a Windwaker game and the graphics are acceptable.
-Fairies give you different upgrade powers.
-Navi is back and it uses the same sound effects from the N64.
-Game is very funny.
-Fun: you can change the way your ship looks and upgrade its stamina by completing sets of accessories. Accessories are acquired through mostly random chance.
-Item use can feel kind of glitchy. All the Windwaker items are back, but not much more. Still, it's fun.
-You can get dizzy from too much rolling or spinning. Wooooah.
-Symbol drawing mechanics can be frustrating if they don't work, which occurs fairly frequently.
-By writing notes on the seamap, you can remind yourself of things to solve puzzles.
-Tingle is not present because he is terrible. Smiley
-Overall rating: 7.7/10. Story, graphics, and humor are good, but there are a lot of small problems that add up and have a negative impact on the overall experience.
