  About Us

The Georgia Tech Golf Club is a co-ed club that serves to enhance the sport of golf by providing competitive outlets for serious golfers at Georgia Tech. In an effort to become a more competitive team, try-outs for the tournament team are conducted at the beginning of each semester.

The Golf Club practices at Marietta Golf Center once a week, and members should form groups to play at least once a week. Members are also encouraged to practice on their own time. As opposed to the past, the club is focusing more on competeing in tournaments. Tournaments are 36-hole events that are held over two days on the weekend. Even if you do not qualify for the tournament team, you are still encouraged to come out to the range on and practice.

Dues for the semester are $50, which covers range balls and a membership to the short game practice area for the entire semester. Members are responsible for financing much of their expenses (such as: equipment, golf rounds, practice rounds for tournaments, apparel), but the club receives some money from the SGA to help fund tournament fees.
