Coach Greg Stathis commented after the Saturday night game that these were two nice wins.

The first line played real well and it showed with the number of goals that they scored. And the third line did good with the new combo of Amore,

It was nice to see Jeremy Spafard get his first goal. When we played even strength the defense was impressive.

However, we need to work on the power play. We had many opportunities and could not capitalize.

The Pep Band at both games was really appreciated. They add to the college atmosphere and it energizes the team.

Congratulations to Mike Zaucha for all that he has done for this program the past five years.

He deserved to have his number retired for his leadership and overall enthusiasm for the game. Next week will a big test for our club as we have our final warm-up before the Nationals.
