The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets came home from Fort Wayne not getting a win in the ACHA Division III Championship. Tough competition and a young Jacket team could not overcome some occasional sloppy play that was turned into scoring opportunities for the competition. It was an overall good experience and losing just one player from the 20 man squad provides hope that they will be back next year stronger and wiser to the high level of competition. Grad student Mike Zaucha played in his final games for Tech and although not finishing on a high note, he relished his playing time with his teammates and the team appreciated his leadership. Mike did score the last goal of the season during Tech’s finale of the tournament on Saturday.
