Please keep Georgia Tech head coach Greg Stathis in your thoughts and prayers. Greg recently went through a 2nd kidney transplant and has battled bad health his entire life. It appears that the multiple medications Greg is taking has had an adverse effect on his already poor health resulting in a hole that has burned into his esophagus. Greg went to the hospital last week and his condition has rapidly deteriorated. As a result, he is suffering from internal bleeding and appears to be slipping into a coma. He was placed on a respirator this afternoon. His family has called in a priest.
