Lt. Tyler Hall Brown (1978-2004)

Serving as Student Body President from 1999-2000, Tyler Brown embodied the gentlemanly character and leadership that Kappa Alpha strives to instill in every member. Tyler enrolled in the ROTC program while also earning a dual degree in Management and History, Technology and Society. After graduating, Tyler continued his military service by completing Army Ranger school and serving in the Iraq conflict. During this conflict, Tyler died defending his country and was buried at Arlington National Cemetery with full military honors. This scholarship commemorates Tyler’s inspiring life.
