Wushu Collegiates 2009 Information

Welcome to the 13th Annual Wushu Collegiates home page! Please check back often as we continue to add more information here for your convenience!

This year's Wushu Collegiates will be held Saturday March 7th, 2009 at the Georgia Institute of Technology. The venue will be the Campus Recreation Center (750 Ferst Dr NW, Atlanta GA 30332) on the 4th floor.



Check-in begins at 7:00 am and closes at 9:00 am. Please sign in at the desk on the 2nd floor. Opening ceremony will start at 8:15 am.

We have prepared an information package for all competitors. Please download here.

Spectators who are GT Students or Faculty are welcome to watch for free. Spectator fee is $5 for anyone else.

March 11
Thank you everyone who came out last weekend! The scores are up in the scores section. Anyone who wants a t-shirt, please email gtwushu@gmail.com with your name, email, and size. Shirts are $10 + shipping. We enjoyed hosting everyone!

March 6
Competitor order is now set. We are still short a number of proofs of enrollment and a larger number of checks. Please remember your proof of enrollment needs to have your name on it. If you're paying for multiple people with one check, please specify who. Thank you all for your patience and allowing us to be your gracious hosts. See you all on the carpet!

March 5
We added an information packet you can download from the link above. The final competitor order will be online by tomorrow. Please check back soon, we look forward to meeting everyone this weekend!

March 2
Tentative schedule is up. Please please let us know if there are any errors what-so-ever.

March 1
Collegiates is one week away! Any registrations as of now will be considered late registration. Although we had previously set the late registration date for February 21st, it had not come to our attention that the confirmations have stayed at regular registration prices. In other words, we forgot. It's set correctly now. If you have not emailed your proof of enrollment and/or your nandu forms, do so soon! Make sure your name is on your proof of enrollment somewhere! We will update the schedule page soon with the estimated time of events and which ring each event will be in. Please remember we still reserve the right to change it the day of the event. Everything is tentative!

Also by request of some of the judges, we have made some updates to the judge information. =)

February 23
We have finalized our judges. Again, we appreciate their help greatly for without them we could not make this event possible. We have also added a few more choice restaurants for competitors to eat at while they are in town.
