Meeting

We will have a meeting this Tuesday, Sept. 25, 11-12, in Student Center, Room
319. We are very happy to have Jonathan Sharma from the Aerospace Engineering
Space Senior Design Team to talk about their award-winning project: “Pharos:
Shedding Light on the Near Earth Asteroid Apophis.”

Pharos is a robotic mission to the Near-Earth Asteroid Apophis to accurately
determine its orbit and perform science. It is designed to accomplish the
mission well under a $500 million cost cap and deadline for mission completion
by 2017.

Time: Tuesday, Sept. 25, 11-12
Location: Student Center, Room 319

Meeting - MDRS

MSGT’s biggest research project every year is a crew of 6 who spend 2 weeks in the Mars Desert Research Station doing research in a simulated Mars environment. This meeting will show past accomplishments and announce the call for applicants for the 2008 crew.
