Mars Society at GT is honored to invite Mr. Stephen Fleming to our next
general
meeting on Feb. 26, Tuesday, at 11-12, in Student Center room 301.
Mr. Stephen Fleming is Georgia Tech’s Chief Commercialization Officer and the
Director of the Commercialization Services. He will be talking his work in
Private Space Flight. The tile of the presentation is “Halfway to Anywhere”.
“Robert Heinlein told us, ‘Reach low orbit and you’re
halfway to anywhere in the Solar System.’ What did he mean? Why is
it so hard? And what are American alt.space doing about it outside of
the NASA dinospace companies? Hear about it from Stephen Fleming, a
director of XCOR Aerospace and one of the founders of the Space Angel
Network.”
