Meeting: Jarret Lafleur on “Atmospheric Entry for Human Mars Exploration: How to lose 20 Mach numbers in 8 minutes or less.”

Aerospace Engineering grad student and 2005 Astronaut Scholarship Foundation recipient Jarret Lafleur will be giving a very interesting presentation called “Atmospheric Entry for Human Mars Exploration: How to lose 20 Mach numbers in 8 minutes or less.” He’ll present an overview of the difficulties associated with Mars atmospheric entry followed by some results of a parametric trajectory study that he did at NASA JSC.
