- Point System
Points affect scholarship eligibility but are NOT required for membership. We will let you know how many points are required to apply when the application becomes available. If you have any questions regarding how many points you currently have, contact your chapter's secretary. The rule of thumb is that you gain a point per hour of NSCS acitivity.
**Valid community service activities include:
- NSCS sponsored community service (service projects announced in general meetings or posted on the community service section home page)
- Community service activities where NSCS is in attendance (i.e. if you wish to work with a non-NSCS group in a service project, you can earn points with us as long as NSCS also has a group at the same project--we should be able to confirm with your project coordinator that you were in attendance)
