Planning to Achieve Collegiate Excellence (PACE)
Encourages inner-city youth to pursue higher education.
Demonstrate fun science activities 1 hour each week for only 8 weeks.
-
Once a week, Kennedy Middle School (directions) needs 4-10 mentors for every classroom of 25 students in their 8th grade science classes to spark enthusiasm and creativity (Check out the labs). If you're interested in being a PACE Mentor, please fill out the Mentor Interest Form (by submitting the form, you are acknowledging and agreeing to the PACE Mentor Terms). Then in March, the program ends with a field trip to Georgia Tech called “March to College Day”. On that day we show them first hand what a college campus and a college experience are like.
