The Georgia Tech Paintball Club was re-formed during the fall semester of 2008. During the Spring semester of 2009 a tournament team was formed and the Club Charter was created. The team began competing in local tournaments, including CFOA and GFOA events. In Fall 09 the team will compete in NCPA events.
The Paintball Club's primary purpose is to foster community and camaraderie among Tech's students by facilitating recreational outings to play paintball over weekends. The club also serves as a channel to spread information about paintball events and functions as well as a way for students to meet other students with similar interests and plan paintball outings of their own.
The Paintball Team is composed of members of the Club who tried out and made the team. The team has weekly conditioning and practices and participates in paintball tournaments in the NCPA as well as the CFOA and GFOA. The team practices out of Hot Shots Paintball in McDonough, GA.

If you're looking to join the club to get involved with competitive tournament play, or if you simply want to find a group of friends to play recreationally, be sure to check out our forums to get in touch with other members.
