All Georgia Tech Student Organizations and Associations are invited to participate in CultureFest 2007, a special week of events, giving students the opportunity to represent and showcase their home country.
As of now, CultureFest is set on the week of March 5th with:
Food Fair on March 5th (Monday) at 11:30am-1:30pm on Skiles Walkway
Come ready to eat a plateful of delicious cuisines from all over the world. Tickets are only $5. GT student organizations will be providing the food. Come support GT’s diversity and wear ethnic clothes!!

Culture Break Events (throughout the week – there’s still time for you to add an event!)
1. “Tae Kwon Do show case” and “Beauty of Korea”
March 7th (Wednesday) 11 am - 2 pm at the Campanile
Sponsored by Korean Student Association
Come see Korean traditional costume and visual display of Korea. The Tae Kwon Do showcase includes Taekwondo Poomsae and Kyukpa. “Poomsae” means a self-practice method in which a man performs the lines of movement in a systematic and consecutive way against an imaginary opponent. “Kuckpa” means breaking objects such as wooden boards. This helps develop one’s physical power and metal concentration.
