The Graduate Student Senate is elected a few weeks into the fall term. The term of a Senate therefore commences with the swearing-in of the senate in the mid-fall and continues until the swearing-in of the succeeding Senate. When school recommences in the fall the old Senate is still in place for a few weeks until the new one is elected and sworn in. These minutes are archived by terms of the Senate.
