Our LREV will be a fully electric vehicle that will have a range of about 150 miles.  We are planning to use an internal combustion engine  car as a donor vehicle. We will install a DC motor and high performance lead-acid batteries as well as a solar array and aerodynamic improvements to increase the range of the vehicle.







  Future plans are to build a fully solar powered vehicle to compete in 2010. The design of  this vehicle is currently in prgress. The Solar Jackets are not only committed to solar racing, but also many  to any  creative application of solar power.  We are currently brainstorming other smaller projets to persue.
