General SPA Meeting - Integral Group (10/26)

 

Who: Eric Pinckney, Vice President, Planned Communities Division – The Integral Group, LLC

Topic: "Conflict Negotiation and Resolution in Practice: Experiences from Cities and Neighborhoods across the U.S.”

Details: Mr. Pinckney has had substantial experience working with residents and other stakeholders in urban areas across the U.S. in the context of planning and developing large-scale, mixed-income residential developments. He will talk about the distinct differences of dealing with stakeholder needs, interests and values in several U.S. cities and different neighborhoods within these cities. Specifically, he will be addressing the intricacies of different urban political climates and successful methods of working with residents and stakeholders to achieve the best outcome for all parties. One of Mr. Pinckney’s first experiences was here in Atlanta, working with the residents of Techwood and Clark Howell Homes on one the nation’s first HOPE VI redevelopment projects.
