The 32 fraternities and 8 sororities at Georgia Tech strive to provide a different type of relationship amongst their members than what you find in other organizations. Bound together by common ideals and values, members work together to excel academically, enjoy the development of lifelong friendships rooted in shared experience, and make the most of campus life while at Georgia Tech. Greek life offers opportunities for leadership skill development, community service, and personal growth and development through activities and programs that chapters offer their members throughout the year. Exciting social events, highly competitive intramural sports, and alumni networking all are benefits of Greek life. Recruitment of new members occurs in the fall for sororities and each term for fraternities.
