Tennis club has historically been a great opportunity for players of
all skill levels to get together and play tennis. Some members are beginners
looking to experience the game in a relaxed environment, others are
ex-highschool players looking to continue playing the game into their
collegiate academic careers, still others are ex-NCAA high-level college
players. This makes it possible for us to provide adequate competition
for players of any skill level.
As you may or may not know, the GT Tennis Club is not just an open venue
for all students (undergrad and grad) and faculty -- we do also have
a competition team that is for the advanced players who wish to travel
and compete against other schools. We have done really well in the past
(12th in the nation at the last nationals event attended) and hope to
do even better this year.
