General Club Info
GTTTA is an organization of both competitive and recreational table tennis players.  (Ping Pong players are also welcome.)  Members meet on Court 6 on the 4th floor of the CRC where we currently have 8 tables.
Members can participate in tournaments throughout the semester.  For serious competitors, coaching by a professional will be available starting this Fall.  Qualifiers are held each semester to choose a team to represent Georgia Tech at NCTTA tournaments.  As of Spring 2008, GT was #1 in Georgia, #16 in the Nation!

Recreational membership($15): You can play/practice on our Monday (7-10 pm)
session and Friday(5-8 pm) session. Play against other players in the League
sessions on Thursdays(7-10 pm).
Competitive membership($35): If you make the team at the end of the
tryouts(Date TBD) and choose to play, you can be a competitive
member. You will receive training by a certified coach, have individual player bio webpages,
and an internal rating system. You will be eligible to represent the Georgia Tech table
tennis team as well as enjoy all the other benefits of being a League member.
All sessions  --  CRC 4th floor Court 6.
What to expect at Recreational Play:  Show up at any time during practice and jump right in.
We use the "table challenge" system.  Sign up on a table's whiteboard to play the winner.
If no one is waiting on your table, warm up, practice or play as long as you like, but if people are in line, start a game at your earliest convenience.
Bring your own paddle.  We will provide the balls as long as they are left with us after each practice.
If you can't find anyone at your skill level, we encourage you to use our rating system to find out who is at or near your skill level.
What to expect at League Night:  (to be updated soon...)
