The Georgia Tech Waterski Club exists as a sports club of Georgia Tech to offer current students the opportunity to compete in and enjoy watersports. The club provides a fun and exciting atmosphere where members are encouraged to learn about different water sports, how to drive a boat, and how to run a sports club organization.

April 12th and 13th Tournament

We will be hosting a South Atlantic Conference Spring Sting'em 3-event tournament at Water Ski Atlanta on April 12th. Come out to the beach and enjoy a fun day in the sun as the South East's collegiate skiers compete in Slalom, Trick/Wakeboard, and Jump. Schools from throughout the South East will be trying to earn spots on the All Stars roster and prepare to compete for nationals next fall.

To get to the tournament Take 85 and exit on South Fulton Parkway. Look for Hunter Rd in 3.5 miles. We will have signs up directing you to Hunter Rd and to Park on Mason Rd.

The tournament kicks off with Men's slalom at 8am, followed by Women's slalom at about noon. The Trick event will start with Men's at 1 and Women's at 4pm. Jump will take place Sunday at 8am beginning with Women's and followed by Mens.

There will be promotional boats including a ski Nautique, a Malibu LXI, and a Mastercraft 190 pulling the tournament along with a Moomba LS and LSV showing off the TrafficJamsInc sound system and Moomba boats by Atlanta Marine.

Meetings

We have meetings every Thursday at 6pm in 888 Hemphill Ave (across from the Police and Parking offices). Our dues are $35 for your first semester and cover expenses such as insurance and equipment fees; gas on each trip will typically be around $15 a person.
